Which GP surgeries do you collect prescriptions from?
We collect from most GP surgeries in Aberdeen City Centre including: Albyn Medical Practice, Calsayseat Medical Group, Elmbank Group Practice, Garthdee Medical Group, Great Western Medical Practice, Hamilton Medical Group, Holburn Medical Group, King's Medical Practice, Links Medical Practice, Newburn Healthcare, Old Machar Medical Practice, Rubislaw Place Medical Group, Torry Medical Practice, Westburn Medical Group, Whinhill Medical Practice, Woodside Medical Group every Monday to Friday during opening hours.
Do you deliver medication?
Yes. We collect from GP surgeries across the city every weekday and deliver free of charge. We currently deliver to the City Centre, West End, Rosemount, Ferryhill, Holburn, Hazlehead, Garthdee, Mannofield, Broomhill, King Street and many more. Not sure if we reach you? Can you order repeat prescriptions for me?
Yes, we can order your repeat medications with our repeat medication ordering service. It's completely free and we can prepare your medications in advance of you coming in for them.
Can you text me when my prescription is ready to collect?
Yes, of course. We can send you an SMS (text message) when your prescription is ready to collect so that it fits in around your plans.
Do I need to be registered with you to collect my medications or use any of your services?
No, we are happy to serve everyone who needs our help. There are certain NHS services that will require specific criteria to be eligible but if you aren't sure - just ask!
Can I walk in, or do I need to book in advance?
Yes, you can walk in during our opening hours for NHS services including Pharmacy First Plus and emergency contraception. Our private clinics (ear wax removal, travel health, weight management, hair loss and vitamin B12) are best booked in advance, though we can often fit walk-ins in.
Is there nearby parking?
Yes, there is on-street parking near the pharmacy and surrounding West End streets. We're also on the main bus routes along Union Street and Holburn Street.
